We had perfect 1 day here, recommend. Comfortable and relaxing hotel, attentive staff, liked the awesome location right by the forest, a gorgeous valley about a hour from Coimbre and garden with beautiful landscaping. The service was absolutely friendly. Fortunately, free Wi-Fi in all rooms was a good bonus.

Excellent views, sociable owners & excellent interiors
Not really the hotels fault but road signs in the area are very bad. People need to be aware they need to get some really specific directions from say the hotel.

The hotel had a nice relaxed feel with stunning views of the mountains and surrounding countryside.
We had booked a junior suite that states on the Booked.net web site that you have a private balcony. My understanding of a private balcony is somewhere that you could sit? The first room we were given had french windows but no balcony, thankfully the hotel was not full and the owner was happy for us to change room to one which had a balcony.
